Prague midsummer Navalis
Prague's panorama was ablaze with colors May 15 as the Midsummer Nights Navalis sought to recapture the aura of the Baroque era. A stroll along the Vltava brought with it the mysterious sight of Venetian gondolas, but the parade of boats came with good reason as it paid tribute to St. John of Nepomuk, who was thrown off the Charles Bridge under orders of King Wenceslas IV in 1393. May 15 marks the anniversary of St. John's canonization, and the gondolas, markets, concerts and fireworks that ran from May 13 to May 16 as part of the Midsummer Nights Navalis (Svatojánské navalis) recalled the 17th and 18th century, when such celebrations were common.

Team IMS Prague
In the fall of 2005, IMS challenged the realm of possibilities by conducting a spectacular 5-day program for a major US beverage and food supplier. The program was slated for 100 top distributors and spouses and was designed to exceed the expectations of even the most discerning traveler. Staff were hand-selected and specially prepared to provide the highest quality personal service and were available 24 hours a day for the duration of the program. IMS arranged exclusive VIP arrival and departure services into and out of Prague Ruzyne airport, expediting participants through the comfort of a private lounge before escorting them to and from their flights. From the fanfare of the welcome reception at the Palais Zofin, to the closing ceremonies at the Prague Castle, guests were truly given the royal treatment. Participants rode at leisure through the city in horse-drawn carriages, created their own works of art in the studio of renowned artist Manto Mrnka and took VIP tours of the Czech Republic's most famous castles. And the special events were nothing short of breathtaking: the Czech Philharmonic performed a private concert of Beethoven's 9th Symphony in the subtle grace of the Municipal House, political and cultural leaders from around the world shared their views in compelling United Nations-style forums each day and world-famous opera singer Jessye Norman performed in the majestic Spanish Hall with Czech President Vaclav Klaus in attendance. Prague shone brightly for our guests on a trip that was undoubtedly unforgettable.
